Things We are Thankful For, Part 2

We are very grateful for the many opportunities we had this year to work together
and love catching up with folks we haven't seen in awhile.
God was very good to keep us safe as we traveled lots of miles.
We still say the bus is like a little rock tumbler! :)

Everybody has their favorite job at the book table. :)

Great visit with Tommy Nelson at Denton Bible Church.

                                                  Barbecue in Texas.  Just YUMMY.

Blessed to be at First Baptist in Dallas.

So beautiful and right in the middle of downtown!

                                                              Teaching a Discipleship Class.
We spent a lot of time in Texas this year!

Bus birthdays! Always exciting to see how and where the celebration finally happens! :)
Crosby makes sure we all feel very loved.

Stopped by Big Sandy for the day to hear Lew Sterrett speak,
visit with friends and burn off some ENERGY!

These two just RAN.... for about 8 hours!

Our resident photographer is always in search of fun shots. :)

Happy afternoon hiking at Enchanted Rock.

Very thankful these guys like to get groceries!

Sometimes we simply must rewind and FIND stuff!

Everyone has grown up so much!
These sweet families hosted us on our 2016 tour.

Love these noisy fellas' ping pong matches!

For those that just adore their jams and jellies: samples!
We always buy several jars to make up for those who SO enjoy this experience. :)

When we lose Charlie at a truck stop, we know where to look. :)

Hiking in West Virginia!

Bus side movie night on our way to North Carolina.

Wonderful turnout for the Salt And Light Expo.
We sang, Daddy spoke, and it was so encouraging to talk with a great group of likeminded new friends.

These friends did such a good job with ALOT of details.

Boys had a great time talking with Dinesh D'Souza
in the hall while Daddy was speaking. :)

Lively Q+A!

The local Chick-fil-a kindly donated JUST a few lunches.

Really wonderful to meet Bishop E.W. Jackson!
Very grateful for his messages and his love for God.

Mt. Airy is the headquarters for all things Mayberry,
and we always try to stop here at the Sheriff's office!

Guys love the chance to play on really marvelous keyboards!
Having a techie sound guy in the back to mix it is just the best!

So enjoyed our time at this church
and loved seeing these cousins of our sweet Russian friends!

During this meeting our bus got VERY stuck in the mud.  :)
We stayed overnight until the rain stopped, and when we finally moved forward the next afternoon, we realized there were HUGE ruts in what was left of the grass.  Before we even had the chance to panic, a landscaping crew drove up for the lawn next door. We were able to borrow their equipment and fix things. The Lord's timing was so perfect!

These friends took us to lunch following our little landscaping party(!) at Joe. T Garcia's.

Joe T.'s has been in business for 100 years, has the most amazing flower gardens, an award winning two- item menu, and patios that seat 1700! Rather inspiring for the hungry AND the business minded.

                                                                        Sound check. :)

Daddy loves the people he gets to talk to!

Very wonderful time with our dear Aunt Joan and Cousin Roger! Loved catching up with them and spending the day together! She is such a faithful prayer warrior and it is so encouraging to visit with her.

Also crossed paths with our Romanian friends who were in town from Florida.
We all ended up in the same town the same day and had a happy party!

This is their precious Adam who is recovering amazingly well from major heart surgery.

We love and work with these dear friends at the English Camp in Romania.

When the gluten free guys splurge. Ha!

Taking a break from listening to our favorite speaker can mean a lot of things.

Oh dear. More creativity. :) This is CARPET, and I was quite grateful this
entrance to the hotel did not seem to be used much.

Lovely lunch with Bami and Poppy.

Poppy (Daddy's Dad) wrote a fantastic book to go with each of our films.
He attended this event and autographed loads of copies and we all had the best time!!

Reminder of those who bravely fought for our freedoms. A favorite Bowers' stop.

Most folks are very kind to our piano players....who seem to move right in!

Loved this venue! All glass with outstanding acoustics. :)

The Historic Menger Hotel

The Menger is across the street from the Alamo and has a marvelous brunch....

...which was a very happy treat to celebrate several bus birthdays!

Bowers Camping 101. Ha. You may have noticed that the best way to gather
for fellowship or a picture of everyone is to bring out the food!?

More thankful things to come. Big hugs from the Bowers!

So happy to read your posts again! How is Mr. Bower's health? Hope you dont mind me asking but is your family affiliated with Advanced Training Institute or IBLP? I've really enjoyed listening to the Faith Family Freedom podcast and listening to your hymns.

Blessings to you all!
